Reason for selection:
Rising popularity of shopping on the Net is making a drastic change in Japanfs distribution industry. In addition to the increasing number of goods to be delivered, additional burdens on drivers due to the necessity of redelivery have received considerable attention. What is coming under the spot light as one possible solution to such redelivery problem is the use of home delivery boxes.
gSUS 443J1h, a highly corrosion-resistant ferritic stainless steel type, has recently been adopted as a material for home delivery boxes for single-family houses. gSUS 443J1h does not contain nickel, a rare metal, but has corrosion resistance equal or superior to that of SUS304.
This type not only helps reduce and stabilize material costs borne by customers but also helps make delivery boxes of higher quality. Furthermore, adopting dull finish suited for coating has facilitated shorter production time and smaller inventories. These factors have led to enhancing a flexible production system capable of dealing with abrupt changes in order entries.
