Bar products include various forms - such as round, square, hexagonal and flat. Products are divided into two categories in JIS; hot finished (hot rolled or forged) and cold finished (cold rolled, etc.) according to production process.
The flat-shaped product is usually called flat bar. Surface finishes include as pickled, ground and machined and appropriate finishes are selected depending on applications. |
